our farm
Antelope Creek Ranch is a family-run, off-grid farm situated at 5200’ in the foothills of the Tobacco Root Mountains in Southwest Montana. Dominating the view from our kitchen window, Hollowtop Mountain rises to an ice-capped 10,604 feet. The once-prosperous gold town of Pony lies 4 miles to the south, down an old dirt road.
Our garlic is grown naturally, without the use of pesticides or herbicides, in the silty soils alongside Antelope Creek which flows past our house. We use well-composted manure from our small herd of Belted Galloway cattle to maintain and improve soil quality. Organic Alaska Fish fertilizer is lightly sprayed onto the young leaves in spring to help produce large, healthy and tasty bulbs. But the main ingredients are top quality seed garlic, fresh mountain air, water, and sunshine.
We hope you will enjoy our garlic as much as we do!
