Rosewood

Rosewood was the first garlic variety we grew and remains our particular favorite. It is a beautiful and vigorous hardneck porcelain which averages 4-6 large and tasty cloves per bulb. Kim loves the pungent flavor and regards it as the king of roasted garlic! Rosewood does well in climates with cold winters. It is relatively tolerant to wet spring soils and is resistant to common allium diseases. Stores well in our crawl space for over 6 months.
